Dern Fast Ed, I think many of us were VERY happy to see it back. I know we'll hate to see it go.

I will say I do not understand any restrictions.

A lot of diverse & interesting topics are discussed here, in the Lounge. Often topics evoke feelings, serious thinking, laughter, dis-belief, prayers, & just about any emotion us mere humans can have. I see nothing different about the "Tack Drivers" strip than any other topics I've seen here. In fact, humor is appreciated here in many forms. Lots of jokes are shared, as well as serious stories.

Could the mods PLEASE explain what restrictions have been placed upon our personal comic strip?

Thanks for all the enjoyment you brought to the forum!
Happy to see Tack Driver return Sad to see it go, AGAIN. ps

What 'restriction' can someone have placed on a cartoon, that brought a smile to almost all here, that was severe enough to have the artist leave? I believe it would only be fair to allow all to know what was so restrictive that Ed had to once again leave.

How'se about we send you our e-mail address and you make up a list to e-mail the comic to? I hate to lose it. :D

Then we can comment on the forum about it.

You make it tough, Cooperhawk, but it is just too much work for an old man.
I'll probably end up at the race track every day squandering my limited resources
and having Lunch with Velma, the all girl waitress... (Thank God for escalators)

Ed, I was sad to see you leave us the first time. I was glad to see you come back. Now I'm sad to see you leaving again. I have enjoyed your comic strips & other posts. I hope you drop in from time to time whether there is a comic strip or not.

Ed, it's all been said so all I can add is keep in touch and pass on your stories.

Thanks for the great strip !!!!

Dave

I was not a full-time follower of the strip (Maybe if I was a would have been!), but I'm adding my name to those curious to know of the reason for its forced demise.

For those of you that are curious, may I suggest asking the author of the OP? The moderators can't give the answer if they don't know. Go to the source, not to the accused.

The moderators have stayed away from Tack Drivers since its return, other than to ask that the installments be confined to one thread. The author agreed to do so. That's it, as far as I know, not that is really anyone else's business. If there is something else, I am not aware of it. Put down the pitchforks and the tar and feathers.

Why would the Moderators want to stay away from the Tack Drivers cartoon? I've been doing this for six years.
I don't remember having any problem. Now, all of a sudden somebody is applying a new rule? Well I tried it and it didn't work. So I quit. So why don't you tell us what the problem is? What's the big secret?
