Howdy Ed: Happy Thanksgiving to you! I have to work but that is the way of commercial aviation. I picked up an extra shift from a younger man with kids. I do it every year so I will work 0600 to 2230 Thanksgiving day. Y'all enjoy yourselves and I'll make a few dollars more....If I'm not off on Christmas I do the same. Union days off are set so unless you have seniority you work these days. 15+ years with SWA and still working holidays, at least in the shop I work. Not complaining, just have read some bull about Walmart folks having to work??? I guess they won't be flying SWA this year. :roll:
