I was on a Facebook page today and mentioned an old gunshop from some years back. Another correspondent posted some info containing the obituary of the owner.
I had bought several guns from his shop, which was originall called "The Collector's Den" and after several locations, ultimately was know as "Harwood Arms." His shop was cluttered with paintings of Civil War Generals etc. I knew he was an artist.
He was an artist with an outdoor advertising company here in Memphis. Among his credits was the great green sign for Holiday Inns.
