The Cimarron Open Top Navy, that is. Arrived in town this morning and I hied up to the pawn shop that had ordered it for me:



This is one beautiful revolver. Fit and finish are superb, action is smooth with a light, crisp trigger with no overtravel. The gun feels good in the hand, and I'm anxious to work it out. It's slightly heavy for its petite size, due to the heavy lug under the barrel. This gives it a trifle muzzle heavy heft, which suits me fine.

That's a real beauty Bob. Be sure to post up a range report on it. I have an old Pietta, brass framed 1851 Navy black, powder revolver, (.44 cal) that I'm real fond of, but one of these, short barreled cartridge revolvers, are high on my wish list. This one looks to be perfect.
