I emailed customer support at Magpul on Friday, and got an answer today (Monday), about whether their MS1 sling would work on the Mini-14.
The Mini-14 has 1 inch swivels which, as most know, are not fun to remove, and I don't want to remove them. Most "tactical" type slings today are 1.25 inches wide.
As I expected, they say this sling will work just threaded through the 1 inch swivels, although of course it will be slightly scrunched up. It would be pretty quiet that way, though. I also asked about the compatibility of their "Para Clips". They said you need an ID of at least ⅜" for full movement (meaning the clearance inside the swivels), and the diameter (wire size) of the swivels must be no greater than 7/32".
I haven't measured these dimensions on my Mini-14 yet, but I thought they might be of general interest.
