The LCR

Just picked up a .38 LCR. Loving the trigger and the light weight. I swapped the tamer grip with the bantam boot and what a difference it makes in the pocket. Using a Remora for IWB (Remora owner Alan B. is an awesome guy to do business with) and have a Mika pocket holster on order from Mr. Mika. Once the Mika arrives in a few weeks I'll post some pics. Are you guys using the Nutnfancy YouTube method of Testers model paint for the from post of the LCR? Seems like a cheap and effective method.

Mine has the XS sight but if it had the regular post sight I would put a couple of coats of white then bright orange.

I have painted the regular sight LCR 38spl with the white Tester model paint. Was going to do the orange over that but really liked the white so stopped with 2 coats of that. Works great for my slightly ageing eyeballs.

I have the XS 24/7 on my LCR 357.
I used Green Sight Bright sight paint on my LCR 22. I like the Green pretty well. Both are way easier to pick up than the black front sight.

Congrats on the LCR. Great little pocket carry gun.

The paint route will work, but night sights are relatively inexpensive and easy to install. I put the XS on mine.

I put the Hi-Viz green fiber optics on my KLCR (.357) last night. It took about 20 minutes. Man that roll pin was in there tight. I had to ream out the hole just a tad with a #51 wire size drill for the new roll pin, but it is in there tight. I got the sight from MidwayUSA for $28. Ruger wanted $43. The green fiber optics are much more visible than the stock ramp. They should offer that option for the .357 as they do for the .38. I bought mine from CDNN. My FFL gave a Christmas "free" transfer so it cost me a total of $415 shipped. I am happy with that.
