the LCP

Yesterday, I went to the range with only my 22/45 & LCP. I put almost 300 rounds through it. Only 1 jamb (FTE) & it quite possibly could have been the way I was holding it, that time I was firing with my weak hand. The LCP is surprisingly accurate. I fired several magazine from the bench, supported & at 25ft all my shots were about touching each other. As it isn't a bench gun though I worked mostly on unsupported firing from the standing position taking turns alternating between hand. I was able to keep most of em' in the target silhouette, but nothing to write home about- but as the shooting from the bench proved...it is ME lacking accuracy in the unsupported stance, not the gun!

One Ruger mag, one ProMag (both 6-rds), 2 white valu-paks from wal-mart & a bag & a half of reloads. Great lil' gun. No blisters on my hands & it wasn't a pain to shoot (although it wasn't exactly totally comfortable).

All in all...I continue to be happy with this thing each time I take it out shooting & it is by far, the most comfortable BUG I have ever carried. I constantly "forget" it is even in my pocket!

The LCP is a snappy little gun, and I shoot mine every trip to the range. I don't put a whole box through it everytime... just shoot it enough to keep familiar with it.
I'm not as accurate as you, but I've never shot it in any other postition other than what I "think" I'd shoot in a defensive situation. There are videos though of people shooting the LCP at incredibly long distances such as: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VxVer9byr48

I've fired about 600 rounds through my LCP, mostly various handloads along with some Winchester White box ammo and some Federal Hydro Shoks. The little gun has handled all with perfect reliability. I'll also vouch for it's accuracy. I can hit an 8"x10" steel plate about 90% of the time at 25yds. At 50' with a 50 foot slow fire target all hits are within the scoring rings and nearly half of them in the black. This pistol has become my favorite summer carry. In cooler weather I prefer my Taurus Slim .40S&W but the little LCP does the job and even when wearing shorts and tee shirt no one's noticed it due to its light weight and small size.
