hey folks,
I've been a member here since 2006 and I have to say again, it's the folks on this forum that make it what it is.
Case in point, I posted a thread about my new watch I got as an early Christmas gift and about how happy I was to get it .
I also said that it would probably be the only thing I got this year , as both girls got Invicta women's watches too and since things are tight around here I was more than happy and I wasn't complaining about not getting any more gifts, that's not what Christmas is about for me .
so out of the blue I get this P.M. from Wayno, asking me for my address , he said because he said Santa might have something else for me .
Well he was right, yesterday I got a package in the mail from him and I opened the USPS box and there was a box of Puffs tissues in the box lol.
bow was heavy , but at first I thought he just got me with a good joke, but I was wrong.
As I said the box was heavy, so I opened the Puffs box and out falls the Gerber box , now I'm getting real excited ,as yall know I collect knives and I thought Oh Boy , cool another knife for my collection. I was wrong . what Wayno gave was a Gerber multi tool , it's their Suspension series model # 22-01471 and has lots of useful things on it and it just the right size.
I have a bigger Winchester one , but never carry it because it's so big, and it's not very well made.
This Gerber on the other hand is VERY well made and Ill get a lot of use out of this, in fact had ir been a knife it would have gone into my collection and probably never get used.
Not that I wouldn't have liked it, but since it was a gift and a Gerber too boot it would been just one of my many knives that I take to shows and such. I just don't have the words for y'all, all of y'all have been so nice over the years, and I have gotten many gifts over the years and believe me I treasure every single one of them , not just because of what they are , but rather from where they came from, my Ruger family.
Y'all are an awesome bunch of folks and I'm humbled to have such nice folks as friends, no make that family.
So A big 'ol THANK YOU Wayno for my gift and thank all of y'all for just being who y'all are.
Your Very Humbled Friend,
Lou
