Years ago a well known preacher gave an Easter sermon that consisted of 5 words: "It's Friday, but Sunday's comin'!" He kept repeating that with various inflections and intensity and had everyone on their feet in a near frenzy! It was inspirational. Happy Easter to all.

One of the things that I have been grateful for over the years is the fact that even though I have known the story since childhood, I still am amazed by it. There always seems to be something new to learn from scripture, no matter how many times I have read or heard it. For those who choose to accept it, we have been given a gift beyond measure.

You are a practicing Bible scholar, I am not, so I may not have this right, but I thought that when Jesus was young he had mentoring and traveled. He had to have some sort of young man's learning curve along the way and I thought that Joseph was who he spent a great deal of time with. If I am wrong I apologize, lots of stories out there
