Taurus class action settlement information

Thanks for the information. I have one of these pistols. I have always liked it as it fits my hand really well and is not too big or not too small. It has been very reliable. I was a little frustrated at taking it out of carry rotation. I am not sure what I will do after replacement. Probably look for another model. Meanwhile I have several Rugers that are still in rotation.

I bought a PT111 gen 2 a few months ago. Apparently the gen 2's are not included in the lawsuit. Good, cause I really like this inexpensive pistol.

Good update. Taurus pistols evoke all emotions, but a good pistol is a good pistol when its actually yours.
I've never had a bad one but I know some have.

Does anyone know whether Taurus has had more recalls than Ruger? I thought Ruger held the record recalling for US-made firearms, but the recent Remington 700s might tip that scale? That might be an interesting discussion... ;)

PT-111 Millennium; PT-132 Millennium; PT-138 Millennium; PT-140 Millennium; PT-145 Millennium; PT-745 Millennium; PT- 609; PT-640; and PT-24/7 pistols (including the “PRO” series of each of these models).
Does not include Taurus G2 model pistols.

I had the PT140, it was a nice shooting pistol until it decided to go full auto on me. It shot accurately and had a good trigger, one of my favorite carry guns. But one day at the range I put a full magazine in it, pulled the trigger and a couple seconds later had an empty magazine. Sounded like a machine gun. Taurus gave me the option to have another pistol or a refund. I took the refund. I will say that Taurus customer support was excellent.
