Looking at the talo single six distributor exclusive I don't see any differences from the ruger version except that the normal production one is a convertible and the talo is 22lr only. I can't find any info on it from the talo website either. Anyone know anything about these

Jim

The Gallery of Guns website has more information:

I believe the grips are a little different, has a "V" notch rear sight (I think), 22 LR/22 MAG cylinders and a gold logo on the backstrap.

These Talo Stainless Single Sixes look very tempting to me..

Yes it is pretty but it would only sit in my safe.

Has anyone purchased this revolver and then actually shot it?

Dave

Strongly considering buying one Monday morning.

I just bought two last Wednesday (one for a gift and one for me) and went out and shot it Thanksgiving day. It shot great with CCI V-max in the mag cylinder. All I had on hand were CB longs for the LR cylinder and it shot shooting clays @ 20 yards with no problem. I buy to play and was planning on buying a standard SS model but because they had a sale on the Talo model and the fact that I was buying two they gave me a great out the door price of $455 each! I'm very happy with it so far and planning to go chase some snowshoes Sunday with my son... :D

Footedshaft, That was a good buy.....good for you. :)

Did you get the 5 1/2 or 6 1/2 Barrel?

I went with the 5 1/2, like the balance and packability of the slightly shorter stuff...

Good choice IMO: I have 2 @ 5 1/2", a blue and a stainless.

If they would have offered a 4 5/8", I would have jumped in.
