I was looking at the Tactical Solutions Trimag connector for three 10rd 10/22 magazines for my wifes 10/22. I am curious if they will work with the 77/22 magazines.

The 77/22 mags are the same length as the 10/22 but shaped differently on the bottom.

The guy who designed them has his own website here:

Call and ask....

Thanks for both your replies. My wife wan't sure she wanted them for her 10/22, but I am going to go ahead and order some for her so I can play with them too! I will give them a try on the 77/22 and see if the work. I also emailed Alangator and asked them. Waiting for a response. Should be fun.

Got an email back from Alangator. He states that the 77/22 mags will not fit the Trimag connector. He recommends using 10/22 magazines in the connector as they will function in the 77/22. A workable solution. Now, why didn't I think of that!?

Many years ago we made our own. Simply take 2 mags to a belt sander until you have a nice flat surface on the bottoms. Super glue them together and bing-bango you have a 20 rounder that just needs to be turned over to reload.

You don't say? :D (Although I prefer black RTV as an adhesive)

Again, the mags for HM2/LR are all the same length, they just have a different bottom contour (flat vs curved). The Magnum mags (17 and 22) are longer.

My point with the link was that the maker said to use a different mag in the gun so the holder would work. I see there is a magnum version that is said to fit the 10/22M, 96/22, 77/22.

I believe what you said, just bring up another choice.
