I've always just called them "Dep-a-dees." I've known deputies to correct people when they address him as "officer."
I've never known deputies to be refered to as "SOs". Maybe it's a regional thing.

I'm an Iphone user that likes to carry my cellphone in my shirt pocket with screen pointing toward me for screen protection. The phone has "tap to wake" feature and the phone will wake up just from that and I have butt dialed several times from it. Also to power down you press and buttons on both side of the phone at the same time, then you swipe to the right to complete the power down. However, doing the same thing initiates an SOS call if you don't swipe the button to the right quick enough. I've never had it happen to me yet but it does happen fairly often.
