The 'irony' of this visit was that it came exactly one year from when I was admitted last year. I wasn't placed in the same room though. Last year I was in 417A, this year it was 419B. This year I also managed to get to be there one additional day awaiting lab results. Oh, did I mention that my wife was also admitted the same night as I was. She passed out, never figured out why, and they lost her pulse. They had the paddles ready to use when suddenly her pulse returned. She stayed the rest of that night and the next day in cardiac section on the 3rd floor. We DO try to do things together but this was going beyond the call on her part.
ROOM 417 ???
When I was in the VA hospital for my back surgery, I ended up in room 417 and spent 4 days there. Yes, the Nurses in the Neuro-surgical recovery ward were excellent. I even sent them a "Thank You" card for the caring service I received.
