Super Single Six anomaly

Today at the show I looked at a new model Super Single Six. SN is 261-10774. Ahead of the trigger guard on the frame is an "arrow", similar to the 22lr only models. Very strange and unable to find out any info in my reference guides. Anyone with an idea about this?

Look on page 111 in the pocket reference, the SSSR4 & SSSR9 are the hardest to find. They were a single cylinder .22 cal. ala the "Star" models only marked with an "arrow" or some say a "house".

Thanks Terry! Found it. This one does have a fluted 22mag cylinder installed. Believe it to be an SSR5. Will look it over again tomorrow. I will check the cylinder SN also.

Scott, never got a pic. Was an SSR6. It will be at the show next month. The cylinder SN does not match the gun.

It looks as if someone added the Mag. cylinder. I'm not sure, but I don't think the cylinders were marked on those .22 LR only guns. Would someone check their guns as I would like to know for sure.
