Her Mom started the same way. She shot IPSC matches with me and her Mother while in high school. Had her own glock .45 and did pretty good with it.
 
I started my daughters shooting at 5. I waited so long at their mother's insistence. Now my grandkids have been shooting since 5 as well. My grandsons will start shooting SASS with Ruger NMVs and Blackhawks in December. Even if I don't get to shoot when we go out, I get to see them do it and it's really great. They shoot so much I now make them reload all the .38s, .45lc and .223 they shoot. What a blessing!
