I bought an unfired standard model 4 inch 22 Ruger auto from the 70's. What I really wanted was to put on a red dot (Bushnell TRS-25) and did with a Weigland no gun smithing mount rail. Mount has a dovetail that replaces the fixed rear sight and the mount screws down to this base. The mount works great but the trigger on the Ruger standard model is not the best. Any fix for the trigger?

Some will say buy VQ parts. I say add pre-travel and over travel screws. Tighten up the linkage, and clean up the sear.
