Stainless Single Actions

I'm not a huge fan of stainless but I have managed to accumulate a few. Clockwise from top left: KBN-416, KBN-106X, KBN-3275, KSSM-5 & KSSM-4-327

For a carry in the woods gun, you cannot beat a stainless gun. I only have a couple of stainless single actions, since they are only new models, but this is definitely the favorite. It does not get carried in the woods though.

Glad they seem to be pretty consistent on the grip panels to grip frame fitting.

I have 5 single actions, 4 are stainless and all 5 are .45 Colt. The 1 that isn't stainless was blued at one time but now is...faded, worn, has character, I don't know? The action is smmoooth even if it isn't a safe queen. I refer to it as my Cavalry model and I had it with me at The Little Bighorn. The National Park not the actual battle. I mean I'm old but not THAT old.

I just have one, recently acquired, but I've grown fond of it pretty quickly. 4 5/8" Super Blackhawk .44 Mag. I put the old Ajax faux stag grips on it. You may laugh, but they fill my hand really well and provide a secure grip. I like 'em.

I have a lot of revolvers, both stainless and blued.
The blued revolvers are tremendously more gorgeous, but simultaneously, it's my stainless guns that are used 90+% of the time.

There have been many releases of Ruger and other firearms with black nitride (or similar) applied to stainless. If it works on semi autos, it could work for revolvers, too.:cool:
