i've been wanting to work with Box Elder Burl for a while now and i finally found some scales i liked so i ordered a bunch of them,

these are the first two out of the bunch.

I'm guessing these are for a 1911. Isn't the mag release cut out on the wrong side or is the picture reversed? Or your mag release changed over for a southpaw?

yep they're for a 1911, and the mag release cut is right where it should be for a standard 1911.

I was thinking the round release button on the left and forgot about it sticking out on the right when pushed. Really a unique looking panels.

Been out of action lately with some medical dilemma and have not posted any photos of the Black Walnut Burl SR-1911 grips custom made by LSCG. Not only are they beautifully crafted and a perfect fit, they make my pistol look "Marvelous".
