SS/Laminate No. 1's

i like them, but most folk didn't, they were pretty cheap on closeout at CDNN a while back.

I love mine. .308. Paid 630 at LGS, used. New SS/lam No.1s there are selling in the 900 range....

Why's anything get dropped? Poor sales. Personally the stainless/laminate ones never really did it. Such a classic design is deserving of blued steel and walnut.

You never really know though--the blackhawk is a classic design and they sell many of them in stainless steel....it was really a great concept as alot of guys want something a little more weather resistant.

I would have purchased a No 1 SS/Lam if they had checkering. Felt too slippery in my hands.

Yup! They should have checkered the stocks.

Still I would rather have the stainless rifle over the blued in case of rain. The best scenario is to have one of each! 8)
