Welcome to the Forum, and sounds like you got yourself a very nice hunting firearm...as noted above, the standard rings are 1 inch diameter, and will work with MOST scopes, and as noted above the EER (extended eye relief) can be seen at arms length, so hold up any scope you may be looking at and at arms length look/see just what YOU can see...the more power in any scope, the MORE vibrating and bouncing (wiggle) around you will see, hard to hold one STEADY, so most folks use one that basically has the cross hairs ( or again other choices may be had) and in a 1x or 2x,, when you get to some of the red dot type optics, they call for a 30MM ( larger) rings, so you either have to get another larger,30mm Ruger style set of rings or buy one of the newer rail type bases, that will mount on the Super Redhawk, then you can use ANY make or form of rings you may need...so keep in mind they MUST be for the Super Redhawk, using the off set front & rear (front ring is higher, the rear is lower) there is a 'step'.
Good luck and happy hunting..................
