SR9E range report

Warmed up my new SR9E this morning. Ran 34 rds @ 7yds (2 mags). Using el cheapo Blazer 124gr fmj. No hiccups. A little drag on the trigger, but that will probably smooth out over time.

POA on first mag was 6 o'clock on bull floating over front sight. Grouped low and left a few inches. 2nd mag, I moved POA to 1 o'clock just outside gray area, which moved POI accordingly. Part of the scatter is me, but all shots were on the printer paper. May have to see what I can do about moving the sights a bit, or just keep in mind the low/left and apply a little Kentucky windage. :wink:

Looks like you are enjoying your new gun. I wouldn't be too quick to mess with the sights. I would wager after you get more accustomed to the trigger & it wears in some your POI might change.

At 70 I'm not quick at anything anymore. :mrgreen: It is a nice shooter, and you're probably right about the POI changing. Only has 50 rds thru it so far.
