I have run close to 800 rounds through my gun since christmas. Not one hiccup. Have run 3 different kinds of ammo (American eagle, Federal premium personal defense and Remington UMC). Love that Ruger!!!

Glad to hear! I've got over 1000rounds through my SR9c since I bought it about 4 months ago, with no problems, including:

Atlanta Arms 115gr FMJ
Federal 124gr FMJ
Winchester White Box 115gr FMJ
Winchester NATO 124gr FMJ
RWS 124gr
Speer Gold Dot 124gr +P JHP
Federal Hydrashok 124gr +P JHP
CorBon Pow'rBall 100gr +P
Hornady Critical Defense 124gr +P JHP

Good to hear. Just 200 rounds Blazer here. :) I won't touch WWB anymore though. To many probs in to many guns.

I keep WWB around to try in new guns. I figure if they eat WWB they will probably eat most anything.

I just ran 100 rounds of LAWMAN thru mine yesterday, makes about 700 total of various brands, no probs.

As of yesterday at the range I've got 1011 rounds through my SR9c.

I may go back today and get it up to 1111.

I love this gun!

That's the only reason to keep that crap around. I only buy it when there is nothing else cheap and I'm running low on supplies.

getting a bit off topic but... is WWB (Winchester White Box) really that crappy?

I'm asking in all seriousness since I've never used it.

I have shot off a few mags in .45 Auto and it seemed decent. Although the box we had smoked up the lane almost like a muzzle loader...

I find it to be dirty. The brass is never really clean. I just sent back over 30 rounds of very badly corroded rounds out of 2 100 boxes of ammo.

It seems to be one of the first things people ask when someone else is having failure issues... and it has often been a culprit. I won't touch the winchester brand at all... no need really.

I've used WWB in several calibers: .45 ACP, 9MM, .44 mag

Never had any issues with performance or quality.

I wonder if there is a pattern to the problems some folks have- date fo mfr, geographical region, retailer, etc. Corrosion could be a retailer or distributtor storage thing.

My problems with 115 WWB come mostly from 9mm 1911 5 inchers. The WWB is light on power and just doesn't want to cycle the slide consistently. You start seeing FTE's that should never have happened.

I had to send my SR9c back within the first week due to it having many misfeeds and many double fires with single trigger pull. I put 200 rounds of American Eagle and Federal Champion through it. I cleaned it before shooting. I am sure Ruger will make it right.
