EC9s extractor update?

Anyone know of a plan to update the extractor to one like that on the MAX 9, recent LCP, and the LCP MAX? I have the updated standard LCP and the LCP MAX which have a longer extractor. The MAX 9, which is basically a higher capacity EC9s has the new extractor. My EC9S seems to work okay, but I wanted to get another one of a different color. I'm hesitant to buy right now since it would seem like ruger would update the extractor soon also.... probably the next day after I buy another one
