Do you have anything to shoot the 2nd day? :D

Congrats....and awesome choice...let us know how it goes for sure. 8)

Awesome, congrats. I just put another couple hundred through mine this weekend. Its always been accurate and reliable :).

I'm leaning real hard towards an SR9C, but considering the CZ75 Compact too..... decisions, decisions..... :?

Be sure to post a range report!

yea, I am looking at buying 1,000 rounds FMJ bulk to play with.

I am sure if it is as nice as I hear, I will be going thru hundred of rounds quick.

Should be here Friday night or Sat, I am hoping.

Although, my luck it will show up Sat evening and then I cant get it till Monday after work.

Be sure to clean the striker channel. Take your cleaning kit to the range and do it again after 250 rds. Should have no problems.

All the way.

Gonna go out and play tomorrow.

Heading to an indoor range today, gonna try out my SR9C and let my wife and daughters burn thru some ammo with my 22/45 as well.

If it's anything like mine you'll love it!

Good Luck

Sr9c or cz75 I think one of those needs a boat ride to get here, that makes the choice a simple one

Just bought one today and being a novice how do you clean the stricker?

Field strip. Look at the back of the slide. See the small hole next to the larger hole in the center of the striker cover? There is a spring-loaded plunger that holds the striker cover in place. Insert a small punch, a small nail, a toothpick or some such into that hole and compress the striker cover plunger. Now use something a little bigger (pen, allen wrench, etc) in the striker indicator hole and lever the striker cover part way down (enough so that when you pull out the small nail, the plunger does not lock the striker cover in place). Cover the back end with your palm as you pull the striker cover free so you don't launch the striker assembly across the room.

After you do it a couple of times, you can do it in about 2 seconds.

Clean and degrease the striker and tunnel before first firing. Don't lube it before reassembly. Reclean every couple hundred rounds until you don't see any metal debris accumulating. I did mine at 250 and 500 and now repeat every 1000 rd or so. If you have a failure to fire or light strikes, check the striker and tunnel for metal debris. You may get some bits of brass in there until the extractor wears in.

Haha I remember getting my SR9c in October, I went 3 times that month and I thought that was expensive. Wish I had the space and tools for reloading. =(

Got in 1000 round of Jack Ross ammo and orderd my lefty Mitch Rosen holster for a LaserGrip with my 20% Ruger code....
Next I gotta order my Laser.

250 rounds of Jack Ross reloads thru it flawlessly......
Love this pistol, so glad I made the purchase.
Got a Crimson laser and 2 more mags for it this week.

Glad your liking it, I'm getting 2 new mags the first of next week as well its in shipping now. Got another 9 round and 15 round for my sr40c. I want the crimson trace and the holster, but I can't decided if I wanna sink that much into it or not, Thats a good part of the way to a brand new gun.

Since I'm not sure if I'm going the CT route I haven't bought the holster yet. But I want it, and I've been saving my 20% of thinking of getting it. Guess I have to make a decision soon.

I got 2 new mags, Galloway springs, alum striker indicator, SS slide rod, and the CT laserguard last week.......
Can't wait for all this rain to let up so I can get it out on the range and see how it shoots now.

I'm wearing my MR Leather holster right now, I love it- no CT though, just the 9c version. Waiting to get the rear-sight laser, so I won't have to have a NEW MR leather holst.....
Went to the range just this morning, needed some ammo the other day and decided to go ahead and buy WWB- knew if it wouldn't work in my 9c it would in my other 9mm. And sure enough, about the 10th round ftf- rack, shoot, ftf, rack, shoot, ftf...reloaded with my HPs and put it away. Went ahead and fired the whole box of WWB, mostly just to get it out of my supply. Have a couple of boxes of UMC 250 ct in tupperware boxes just waitin' for me to use em.
