every time ive tried shooting my sr9c i has at lest 2-3 failurs per clip, both with Remington UMC 115g fmj and Winchester 115g fmj.. any ideas won whats goin on?.

Is the gun new? How much have you shot a semi-auto in the past? My full size SR9 was the first semi-auto I owned and I hadn't shot very many others before. I had quite a few failure to ejects and stove pipes until I ran several magazines through it. I don't know how much it was getting the gun broken in and how much it was me becoming comfortable with my grip, but it has become a very reliable gun since then. If it's a failure to fire, that would be another story entirely. There is a wealth of information on this forum, so keep asking the questions until you get it straightened out.

The SR9c doesn't take clips. It uses magazines. I'm not trying to be a terminology elitist...just trying to keep you from getting recognized as an easy "mark" some place and getting taken advantage of.

Anyway, you may also be limp-wristing. Shorter barrel and lower weight theoretically give the gun a snappier recoil, and if you don't have a solid grip, the gun won't cycle properly.

Take it out to the range w/ a friend and after you suffer your failures, have your buddy shoot it and see if it happens for him/her.
