SR40C - All mine!

So excited =). Picked up my first handgun on Thursday and can't wait to get it out on the range this weekend! Took it all apart (thanks to the great advice on here) and BOY were you guys right! So much factory grease! I cleaned out everything including the striker mechanism and the trigger, while dry firing, felt great. Let's see how this puppy does on the range.

Can you turn safety on with just your thumb?
I can't do that in SR40 stainless, though I can turn safety off with just a thumb.

I can't! Turning it off isn't an issue. In fact it's pretty intuitive and easy. Turning the safety I have to use my non-dominant hand.

Maybe it just needs more time on the range =).

nice! I love my 40c, it's my carry gun, accurate, just plain fun to shoot. No issues with my safety though with either hand, engaging or dis-engaging

No issues with safety here either, SR9, SR9c, SR40, SR40c and SR45 all have safety that work perfect with either hand. The Sr40c is my everyday CC weapon, but all of the Sr pistols are really great.

I've got the 9c and love it. Let me know how the trigger feels on the 40 once you get it to the range.

As far as safeties go, I can disengage the safety on the 9c with my thumb easily. Like blazin, I engage it with my off hand though. Mine is fairly new as well, and it might just take some wearing in.

Went to the range and the trigger was awesome as advertised. Barely any take-up, clean break, and a good reset.
