Count how many times he dry fires the SR40 without the mag in place. I hope he removed the MD from that thing! I bet he wont be quite so enamored with the pistol when it just says click.

AL,

Thanks for the link...was a fun watch.

As I am an old school whore......

It won't talk me outta my most trusted/proven house gun...
My P91(Nite sites and CRIMSON TRACE LASER GRIPS)....lol

But it was a fun watch!

Thanks for the link. Made me laugh and cringe at the same time. Does'nt anyone read the instructions.

Boy, he really loves pulling the trugger huh! :o

Decent review, but something tells me that he has no idea on the potential damage happening while he keeps those fidgety hands busy.

Michael Bane is familiar with the Mag DC, whether or not he's removed it in this gun is another story. He did an interview when the SR9 was released with the then CEO or something and they spent a few moments talking about it. I can't find that video of course, but I know I'm not making it up.

I'd hope he has removed it since he is familiar with the SR series as he carries an SR9/c. Regardless, I'd bet that SR40 is going back to Ruger anyways.

Towards the end, he summarises with the phrase . . .

“If you’re a fan of the .40, you can now, step-up-to a RUGER product”.

Kind of emphasises the aspirational status of RUGER - that all (most) of us on this forum accept and understand! :D

PS: I counted EIGHT dry-fires!
