Just came off range after shooting the LCP max. Overall pretty favorable reviews. Shot 100 rounds of training and carry ammo (carry being the underwood +P 95 grain and federal 85 Punch).
Had zero failures to feed. Got the gun from Grabagun for just under 200 bucks. It’s a pretty small gun (take everywhere with pocket carry) and significantly lighter than the K6S. I envision even being able to carry it in sweats.
Accuracy was pretty good with the punch ammo; couple inches at 15 yards. Perhaps 3” using the underwood ammo but some of that might have been me. The Winchester training was a bit disappointing around 4” or so at 15 yards. But certainly pretty good for a mini gun.
Very pleasant to shoot with the training and punch ammo. The underwood was pretty snappy but plenty manageable.
I’m mulling over whether to try to carry it in the supplier ruger holster or use a spare nemesis superfly (it’s for a snub .38 but the max fits perfectly). The supplied holster tends to stick in pockets (stick to the gun) which isn’t great.
The gun does have an external safety which I use for now but don’t have to. I’m also mulling over carrying it safety off since it has a Glock style trigger safety and is safe in a holster in the pocket with it off.
The trigger is OK. Not bad, not great. On par with any other LCP.
For a gun this size the sights are fantastic. Were pretty much dead on and have a nice wide U rear with tritium enhanced white dot on the front. Making shooting it precisely very doable. Much better than any other LCP and most snub revolvers.
Overall I like it and plan on using it as an always carry. With 11 rounds in the gun and a spare 12 round mag I’m feeling pretty good with its potential firepower. While I’m not a big 380 fan, the underwood ammo gives energy similar to my .38 so I don’t exactly feel under gunned carrying this in lieu of a J-frame with reload.
