SR22 Magazine

Hello,

I just picked-up my new SR22 yesterday and today just started to check it out.
This is my question. When loading the magazine the rounds kinda almost zig-zag
as if it were a double stack mag. Is this normal???
I am using Winchester 22LR 36 GR. Plated Hollow Point, 1280 FPS.

I don't know if Ruger "copied" the Bersa Thunder 22 but the BT22 uses a wide mag tube which allows the round rims to stagger. The results is 10 rounds in a shorter magazine. I like it.....
