Like the first several times this has been brought up, I'll bet that Ruger
will have to cease the "pink gun" thing (limited runs) and concentrate on

How many dang 10/22 DE's can they produce? Evidently 100's of them...but they give us that horrid choice for a 50th anniversary model which still sticks in my craw... And while I am on a rant, their mSRP's are getting up there to the point where price vs. quality is a legitimate question.

Given the P89 and P90 history I am sort of surprised they have not come out with an SR1911 variant in 9mm by this time.
I am not buying a lot of guns anymore (have 44 pistols, rifles and shotguns only 1 is a revolver) but I intend to buy a Ruger SR1911 in 9mm if it ever comes. The other I want is an S & W Victory .22cal. Maybe I will sell my RI Tactical 9 if the Ruger ever comes out but I do not think I want the American as it is just another 'plastic' gun like my SR9c and I will never part with my P89.
Come on Ruger give us the SR1911 in the calibers we want (need)

Wouldn't a 1911, that is considered to be a bulky gun, be too large for tight concealed carry in 9mm?

I can say that while Ive never been a big fan of Ruger's centerfire pistols and only vaguely ever interested in the 1911 itself, I would defiantly be all-in for a Ruger 9mm full-sized and bobtailed 1911!

I would be a buyer of 10mm sr 1911, or a long slide .45, 9mm 1911's don't interest me at all, but I know it will be a good seller for them.
