I just want to touch base with a group to see what kind of accuracy you're are getting with your 9mm. I have tried 6 different commercial loads - all RN - and am getting only 4-6" groups at 15yards.

Not what I am used to with all my other 1911s. Do I just need to test more ammo or is this about average?

I would suggest you have someone else try it. Sometimes you have a
combination that your brain just doesn't adjust to, in the first few times.
If someone else is getting the same results as you are, then you might
want to talk with Ruger.

Definitely let someone else try it first.

I don't measure but at 50 feet on our range, I can do headshots all day long and the groupings are tight.
And that's aiming through the suppressor.

Well I had a buddy go with me and shoot it. Alao a long time pistol shooter. He got the same group sizes I was getting sobthank goodness (I guess) it's not me.

He also noticed something I did not...as the slide comes.to full forward he could feel barrel movement even at forward lock. You can't hear it or see it but you can feel it.

I am guessing the barrel bushing was not fitted properly
I am going to contact Ruger and ask for return shipping label.

Mine does quarter size 5 shot groups (two hand, slow fire, standing) at about 20 meters.
:D
