SR 556

I very much doubt it! Here very shortly I have a feeling that you are going to see an entirely new model and with they way they do things it may only replace the current SR556.

They should, there aer way too many AR type guns. They should stick to their mini 14 type rifle it is a clasic and works well.

Curiously there wasn't any versions of the SR 556 displayed at SHOT this year.

Well, that really disappoints me about Ruger! I sure hope they have other motifs for not showing the SR556 other than the current political climate is telling them not to.
I'm guessing they decided not to show them because it would have garnered a lot of unneeded negative publicity from this country's individuals who are uneducated about our freedoms, including to own whatever firearm we darn well choose to own.

Does anyone know which TROY rail is used on the SR556 or the SR556E series. (one looks like an alpha rail, the other looks like a bravo.

And will http://store.troyind.com/Quick_Attach_Rail_Section_for_TRX_Extreme_p/srai-vkg-pxbt-00.htm
THOSE work on the SR556E series?

Wow. That's a nice rifle. It also appears to utilize the same "alpha"? Rail as the sr-e series.

I keep noticing the threaded holes... do additional rail platforms exist which can be installed here?

PS I really like the full length gas tube and piston operation of it. That bull barrel looks nice.
