MSRP $2049

I wonder what the cost of the extra .300 barrel will be, I paid just under $400 for my DI .300 Blackout upper (complete with bolt/carrier).

Still, If you just gotta have a piston system, then it might be the way to go.

With an MSRP of $2049 and a guestimated $200+ for an other barrel, gas block ,sight and flash hider I'll stick with a standard ar15 and swap uppers. You can buy 2 to 3 in different calibers with what you save.

I am very impressed with this system. Being this is a gas piston upper, the cost to swap a barrel is far less than a complete assembly.

If cost were not an option, two dedicated assemblies would be better so to not effect POA/POI. For the person who can only afford one piston upper and one nice sight or optics set, this is ideal. Only concern I have with any "unique" AR, is the fact that parts are now none standard and Ruger is not free flowing with parts availability.

And on the bright side, barrel swapping would make this one heck of a squad weapon to run beta mags or a belt conversion. LOL

I thought one of the main POUs of the AR15 was mil-spec parts interchangeability. If you can't swap out parts easily and readily, why go with an AR platform?

Saw one yesterday. $1749.99 Not my thing so didn't do anything more than check the price.
