Just returned from the range with my SR-22 Pistol, 250 rounds fired 5 boxes of different brands, Remington, Winchester, Federal, ICC, and Wolf.

I had no failures of any type with any of the five brands fired.

This is one fun pistol to shoot. Its easy to disassemble/assemble, fully adjustable sight, loaded chamber viewing window, accessory rail, decocker, magazine disconnect, ambidextrous manual safety and a very good trigger.

Fantastic, glad to hear it!

Just make sure to check the barrel hold-down screw is tight!

Yes, I removed the barrel before I shot it, the hold down screw had a lot of gun oil on the threads, I degreased threads. Barrel still tight after 250 rounds.

Thanks for the report.
I plan to clean mine and lock-tit the barrel before my first outting.

Thanks for the report.

As with so many of Rugers new offerings, they are not to be found in any local gun store. So, I've got a standing order in with my local pusher to get me one, however he can get it.

WAYNO. 8)

WAYNO, I agree with you... my local gun stores rarely ever have any of Ruger's new stuff, but somehow this one slipped through because I went in there 2 weeks ago and they had FIVE! I couldn't believe it. I would have liked to snagged one, but I already had my heart set on a M&P-22. Shhh... haha

Looks like you can get all 3 fingers on the grip- that right? Man, if only....

Yes thats right all three fingers . I have big hands, for this to happen I had to replace the flat magazine base with the supplied finger grip magazine base.

Tried my SR22 out for the first time today. Roughly 200 rounds, and it works flawlessly.

The jury is still out in the accuracy department. Gotta try some different ammo in a little more controlled shooting environment.

Neat little gun. 8)

WAYNO.

Go mine Jan. 8 and so far have run 400 rounds threw it, a lot of fun to shoot 100% dependable and accurate. It will do 1.5 inch groups at 7 yards and about 6 inches at 25 yards although it is kind of cold in Michigan now for accurate shooting. Three new mags arrived from Ruger store Friday, so with 5 mags it will be a little more pleasant at range. So far this has been one sweet little pistol.

Ran 120 rds through mine today. Wish I could have ran more, but I was pressed for time and also had some Blazer and some Gold Dots to run through the 9c. SR22 ran flawlessly on bulk Blazer 40 grain. Not a hitch other than wishing I would have had time to run the whole brick of ammo through it! It sure is a fun shooter. My wife ran the very first two mags through it and did pretty well for almost no experience. Only thing I did before running it was making sure the barrel screw was tight and give some of the pivot points and friction areas a light oiling.
