Spring Vacation

My wife and I packed our old Ford pickup and are headed west for our Spring vacation at 0800 today. Stopping in Winslow, Az for the night and then on to Laughin, Nevada for two weeks of relaxing on the banks of the Colorado River. I might do a little target shooting at the Tri-State shooting range and the go feed some carrots to the wild donkeys in Oatman. After Laughlin drive, we will drive down through Lake Havasu to Quartzite and on to Tombstone for a week for the annual Giant Rose Tree Festival. Then head back for home in far left Santa Fe ( a/k/a Santa Fake) NM. Life is good.

but that was back in the early 50s.

but that was back in the early 50s. .............

As I understand it, the song was written by James Taylor and Glenn Frey; if they wrote it in the early 50s, they would have been toddlers at the time.
