Our azaleas are just now getting into full bloom here in the eastern part of the state. We missed out on our family's requisite Easter pictures in front of the azaleas because they hadn't bloomed yet.

Spring is getting good now that the pine pollen is letting up.

My parents had never been in North Carolina in the spring until a few years ago. My Mom remarked "Now I know why you have those ugly bushes in your front yard.". I had lived in North Carolina almost 20 years before she saw azaleas in bloom.

Great pics. This weather has been nice too, not too cool, not too warm. Might have to use a snow shovel to get rid of the pollen this year, though.
