SP101 in .327

I just read somewhere else that Ruger is making the SP-101 with a four inch barrel in .327 Mag. That looks nice.

Any idea if Ruger can be coaxed into going a little bit longer? That full lug four inch is nice... but a half lug five inch would be perfect for a general field gun.

Don't hold your breath.

Just buy the 4" and have it half lug'd.

I have a close friend that recently aquired a SP101/327 we both agree it needs half lug'd. . . . & SLAB SIDED.

I went with the 7 shot single six 5.5" and really like it.
5.5" was the only barrel length I was missing in my 32 tribe. :roll: 4.6/6.5/9.5"
