SP101 hammer pin

My SP101 hammer pin tends to back out a bit when shooting or dry firing. The grips prevent it from getting to far but it stands a bit proud on the right side of the frame. I would like for it to fit a bit tighter. Any home gunsmith suggestions?

I would be temped to put a tiny drop of c/a (super glue) under the flat of the pin to keep it flush. An easy tap from the other side would break it loose when needed.

Mine would spin around and back out when dry firing----sent it back to Ruger and now its good.

Throw a drop of epoxy on the underside of the grip where the hammer pin tab sets. Effectively create a pressure pad against the tab.
