Sp101 .327 magnum

Have heard different stories here:
Is the front sight replaceable with a fiber optic sight in the 327 caliber or not?
Have seen Where some say yes, some say no.
If it is replaceable, any recommendations, item links or sku numbers would web appreciated

Check Ruger's website and see if they offer a replacement for the sp101

All I can tell you is that there is a pin holding the front sight to the barrel. (From looking at Ruger's webb site.) jack

Midway lists HIVIZ front sights that say "to fit the SP101 EXCEPT 327 Fed Mag"

The 327 has a tall front sight. The front sights made for the fixed sight models will be too low and you will shoot high with it, depending on what ammo you are using. The other sights will "fit" but not be the right height.
