got a 32 H&R 4 inch stainless 98% finish for sale and can't find out what it's worth anywhere.........don't have a box or papers and as I just said only found one and it had such a crazy price I think it was a typo...........I can't seem to find any even listed for sale so someone give me some kind of insight as to what I should ask...................

*made a mistake, thought this came from the Classifieds...*

Asking for help might be better served in the Ruger Revolvers section. Or Ruger ...Collecting section?
If I could buy one in said condition for 500, I'd reach for cash. Around here they last a week tops and sell for 550-750 depending on the package. +11% taxes.
Wear n tear brings the pricing down smartly.

Pics might help too, as condition is everything.

These are a desireable item. One sold on Gunbroker in August for $800. I sold one on there last winter for $830. Both of those were in box with lock and paperwork.

Good luck.

Read the forum "rules". You need to post a price in the Classifieds, just like everyone else.

Looks to me like he's asking for help, not for offers.

Perhaps posting a pricing question would be better served in the Lounge.

Moved.

re: " 32 H&R 4 inch stainless 98% finish for sale and can't find out what it's worth anywhere." I had a clone of that model:

When they first came out circa mid-1980s, I grabbed up a New England Firearms version of 4" stainless 32 mag 5 shot.

I put about 20 rounds thru it and left it in a drawer for 10 years. Upon retrieving it for some range work, discovered it was broken and would not activate hammer, while the cylinder would turn by hand either direction.

I know what my version of the model you describe brought from my LGS despite it looking 100% 'NIB'.

wolfsong.................Yes was asking for help and living in the center of Montana kind of shut one off from what the real world values things..........

I would think the price should be at least 550 to 600. I rarely see any Sp101 for less than that. And the .32s are even more desirable.

Have seen them from$400-$750. Rode hard put away wet to as new in box look. If good shap price it high and come down if needed.
