Is $480 a fair price for a used 4" SP101 .22/LR ?

Condition would be almost a "10" but the front sight had some red on it that has nearly rubbed all off.

Just thinking I might tie it up if the price sounds right.

Thanks' Bud (knuckles)

 I don't need it... but it sure would be a fun plinker.

BTW... it is a full-lug.

I think its a good price, if I were local and still had some time stateside I would buy another. I picked mine up about 5 weeks ago. Took it out twice and its going out again on Sunday. I have to get my fun shooting doen before I head to Iraq. Its an accurate little guy, not had a issue yet. I paid 500 for my halflug.

I saw one go for $525 this weekend at a gun show and not in great shape finish wise. But on a satinless that is an easy fix.

That's the lowest price ($480) I've seen in a long time, especially for the condition it's in. Been to three large gun shows and a couple of small ones this year and have seen nary a one!

Guess I should add that the one I found was in pretty nice condition. But still, yours is $20 cheaper for a gun that is pretty hard to find period. Like stated earlier, if you want, I would get, otherwise someone else probably will. Added photo for idea of what I was "lucky" to find in my opinion for $500.

The only two that were around here for sale recently were $575 and $550. Seems like yours is a great price.

Yes, you got a good deal for such a nice half lug SP101 .22! The half lug's are more collectible and usually will command a higher price than a full lug will.

I bought my 4" SP101 half lug .22 new in 1996-but, it's still NIB and unfired. I plan on shooting this revolver in the near future!
