Handled an SP101 today. Stainless finish, about 4 inch barrel,high-viz sights. "NEW" in the box.Just came into the store. I wanted to trade for it but I thought the price was a little high $629. However I am not familiar with the double actions.Is it too high?? Thanks olsherm

A couple local dealers have them here. They are in the $550 range here.
I paid $535 for mine 6 mo. ago.

It's a little high, but considering the market right now, not out of line. With many guns selling for twice the MSRP, getting one for less than MSRP now feels like a bargin. :roll:

They are a very nice gun and built like a tank.

Give $519.95 +tax for my SP101-22 5 months ago, a lot of fun to shoot. It is vary accurate single or double action. I had it ordered for about 3 months and it is only one i have seen, they don't seem to be shipping many of them, at least in this area.

I bought one from my LGS about three weeks ago, $495+tax. I traded it this evening for a very nice old 2" SP101 .357.
