Picked up a sp DAO snub for a song the other day. It is an older one, 90's model. As usual it had a heavy poor trigger. Ive done an IBOK treatment on the inside and replace the hammer spring for #12, radius the trigger. Much, much better. Changed out the return spring with an #8 but changed back to stock, because reset was to long and not as positive as I would like. Finally the question. It feels like the trigger is "raspy" on the return, should I sand the trigger or file the frame. Weight of trigger is fine, want it smooth. Thanks

TreeDoc ,you where almost there !!

The well the trigger returnspring is in will be ruff .

Disassemble the trigger group completely & polish it with a 13/64 drill bit & fine lappin compound , clean it good & this is 1 spot I do use a quality synthetic grease.

Also the plunger that looks like an arrow head smooth it up & the mating surface on the cyl latch ,but don`t remove much !!
