I'd just did a trigger job on my SP-101 3" and I am very satisfied with the results. I used Wolffe spring kit and polished the sears.
I used the following springs:
Trigger return 8 LBS. And hammer 10 LBS.
Afterwards I went to the range and shot 150 rounds and I noticed quite a bit of difference than with the stock springs.
I also shot 200 rounds with my S&W 686 plus. Even with the trigger job I must admit that you just can't beat a S&W trigger.
