Sometimes you just get lucky

There was a gun show and Christmas Extravaganza, this weekend, mostly Christmas Extravaganza, as far as the number of tables. I suspect we all have certain guns that are our hot button. Most people make a walk around the whole gun show before laying out any money. I normally do the same thing, except 2/3's of the way down the first row happens to have a Ruger Security Six laying on the table. It's a nice 4" stainless security six at a price I couldn't pass on and it came with a nice leather holster. It's nice I didn't have to wear a mask to get that good deal. I have a thing about the six series guns, especially the ones at a good price.

I also have a thing about SP 101's with a 3" barrel, in case anyone has one at a good deal.

I don't know how noticeable it is, but it's a 1979 model with the lighter barrel. I like the looks of the heavy barrel, but I appreciate the weight of the lighter barrel. Theses old guns, if you could only have one gun, would last you forever.

Very nice! Gunshows can be a lot of fun when you get a nice score like that one and it happens fast.
