I know some guys don't care for the really busy exotic spalted maple. But here is a rather subdued set of gold stabilized spalted maple grips on my old Vaquero. I love the color of these grips.

Cary! It's hard to believe that anyone wouldn't like those grips, or any spalted maple grips. I agree I like the color of them too.
