Some new grip panels i did

A forum buddy messaged me the other day and asked if he would make me some panels if he sent me his grip frame and the wood he wanted to use.

We worked out the details and it arrived a few days later.

Here is what i did for him. Not perfect but mine never are. I like em tho. Real pretty grain.

The brass birdshead grip frame is afyermarket and it is going on a Sungle Six (I think) centerfire conversion he is doing. Should be a sweetie!!

NICE! That dark wood sets off the brass! Well, at least the pic makes it look like brass. If it's stainless, same effect, nice contrast!

Believe it's just a figured walnut. Smells like walnut...

Nice! Other than I'd have to have medallions (they're a must for me) those are as perfect as I could hope for. Very nice color/grain in those panels.
