Some more wild birds

The feeder has been pretty busy, even on the one rainy day we had.

I have had some goldfinches showing up here and there, even this soggy one.



The juncos have been very busy, and this was the first and so far only shot I got of one in a tree, they are so skittish I can't get anywhere near them normally.



I get some doves in and around every day, we don't have a hunting season for them yet, so until then I will just be shooting them with a camera.



I have a new customer and in the six years I have lived here I have never seen one and that's a purple finch. This is the male, he has a female nearby, they stop by first thing in the morning and then they are gone for the day.

Great photos Dave! The bird in the top photo is a Pine Siskin though, not a Goldfinch.
