Took these with the new 70-300MM Nikon lens I got a couple days ago. Very happy so far.

Thanks guys. Rick, yes, I'm liking the new lens and camera outfit. Looking forward to the weather warming up a bit so I can get out and do some more nature and outdoor photography work.

Hi,

Just a thought for next hunting season, Jeff: dunno if it's even practical, but I'll toss it out. I'm sure you've seen some of Tom Black's pictures (he usually posts 'em in the Hunting forum), and since both of you share a love for front stuffers, I'm just wondering out loud if you guys are close enough to each other to arrange a "photo-documentary" type hunt some time? Kinda along the lines of your "How it's done" pictures about building one of your rifles?
